Infants

Welcome to the Infant Program at Stonewood School North

It is our top priority to meet the needs of each individual child in all of our infant rooms. Our staff take great pride in providing each child with the absolute highest quality of care.

Our teachers work hard to help infants reach important milestones in those crucial early stages of development. Through a planned curriculum, teachers are able to provide a wide array of activities and experiences to help strengthen the children’s social, emotional, and motor skills. Our infants spend a good amount of their day on the floor engaging with their teachers and peers, doing tummy time, and exploring the environment and sounds around them.

Each infant classroom communicates daily with families, both at arrival and pick-up. A daily sheet sharing the infant’s day at childcare is provided with information on feeding, nap and diapering schedules as well as any important information about the infant’s day.
